Women’s Pistol Training Classes
*Completion of CHP + P110 = Defensive Pistol 100
With CHP
Defensive Pistol 100 (with CHP) provides comprehensive training and instruction in pistol safety and operation in addition to what you need to know to carry a concealed handgun in Colorado (legally and practically). Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) in Colorado.
Must Complete CHP Course
Using the “crawl, walk, run” philosophy, students will learn and practice basic and intermediate pistol skills and shooting fundamentals in the classroom and on the range. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) in Colorado.
This is a range only session, reviewing the fundamentals of marksmanship with a focus on improvement of accuracy and safe gun handling skills learned in Defensive Pistol 100.
Must Complete Defensive Pistol 100 or Defensive Pistol 110
The Defensive Pistol 120 class is open to all Makhaira Group Alumni of Defensive Pistol 100. This courses is a range only session building on the fundamentals of marksmanship while introducing advanced skills and weapon manipulation. The focus will be on improvement of accuracy during combat grip shooting, strong hand only, and support hand only shooting. This session will also include safe gun handling during one handed emergency reloads, malfunction clearance and drawing from the holster.
