Red Dot Pistol 135

Red Dot 135 is for the red dot equipped pistol shooter who wants to take their shooting to the next level.  Practice gun fighting skills designed to expand on your basic understanding of the red dot sight system and push your weapon platform to new limits.

Completion of Red Dot Pistol 130. A pre-approved course/recommendation from a reputable instructor may also be considered. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

• Optic functionality in multiple round and target engagements
• Optic functionality during failure
• Single hand manipulation, malfunction clearance and reloads
• Support side use and manipulation of the weapon platform
• Use of cover and movement

• Pistol with mounted Red Dot Optic
• Sturdy belt and outside the waistband holster
• 300 rounds ammunition (Factory, non-steel core ammo only for indoor courses.  Please check your ammo if there is any question.  Additionally, no home reloads are allowed due to insurance.)
• Spare battery for Red Dot optic (none will be provided)
• 3 magazines total and method to carry
• Eye protection (clear or yellow for indoor courses)
• Ear protection (electronic preferred) If you do not have your own, loaner eye and ear protection are available.
• Baseball style hat (to keep brass from getting behind eye pro)
• Appropriate clothing (i.e. closed-toe shoes, pants, long sleeve shirt without low neckline)
• Personal food (optional).  Bottled water will be provided.
