BP102: Basic Pistol 102

The Basic Pistol 102 class (formerly Intermediate Pistol-Range Only) is open to all Makhaira Group Alumni of Basic Pistol 101. This is a range only session, reviewing the fundamentals of marksmanship with a focus on improvement of accuracy and safe gun handling skills learned in Defensive Pistol 100.

Completion of Basic Pistol 101 (with CCW). A pre-approved course/recommendation from a reputable instructor may also be considered. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

• S.P.I.R Malfunction Clearance
• Emergency & Tactical Reloads
• Use of Cover & Concealment
• “Shoot – Move – Communicate”

These new skills will be added to qualify Basic Pistol 101 Alumni for Defensive Pistol 200 and our Dynamic Skill Builder Courses!

• Good working, serviceable pistol.  While this class is geared toward the semi-auto pistol, use of a revolver is permitted with prior approval.
• Belt holster (outside the waist ONLY)
• 3 magazines minimum and method of carry (2 on belt)
• 200 rounds of ammunition (Factory ammo only.  No home reloads allowed due to insurance.)
• Eye and ear protection – If you do not have your own, loaner eye and ear protection are available.
• Baseball style hat (to keep brass from getting behind eye pro)
