Concealed Carry Training In Colorado

The Basic Pistol 101 and Defensive Pistol 100 courses will improve your pistol shooting fundamentals and basic pistol craft skills with the self-defense pistol. Upon successful completion of either course, students will receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) in Colorado.

Exciting News – New Concealed Handgun Permit Course Starting April 1, 2025!
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Concealed Handgun Permit course, available beginning April 1, 2025. This course will replace our Basic Pistol 101 and has been specifically designed to meet the standards of CO HB 24-1174. Rest assured, you’ll receive the same high-quality training with a fresh new name!

The Basic Pistol 101 (with CHP) class provides comprehensive training and instruction in pistol safety and operation in addition to what you need to know to carry a concealed handgun in Colorado (legally and practically). Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) in Colorado. Class is taught by certified NRA instructors in a safe and professional classroom and range.

• We also offer this course as a Women’s Only option.
• CHP certification is also available with the Defensive Pistol 100 course or the Women’s Defensive Pistol 100 course.
• Completion of Basic Pistol 101 qualifies students for Basic Pistol 102.

The Defensive Pistol 100 class will improve your pistol shooting fundamentals and basic pistol craft skills with the self defense pistol. Using the “crawl, walk, run” philosophy, students will learn and practice basic and intermediate pistol skills and shooting fundamentals both in the classroom and on the live-fire range. This class is taught by NRA certified pistol instructors.

• CHP certification is available with this course
• We also offer this course as a Women’s Only Defensive Pistol 100.
• Completion of Defensive Pistol 100 qualifies students for Defensive Pistol 200, and our Dynamic Skill Builder courses: Defensive Pistol 120, Low Light Pistol 140, and Force on Force 150.
