We’re just getting started! \nOur Tactical Shotgun 200 course takes the skills you’ve developed in Tactical Shotgun 100 and brings them to a whole new level with more challenges\, more hands-on training\, and plenty of opportunities to improve your performance! \nThis isn’t just another day at the range! You’ll build on your existing shotgun fundamentals while working toward greater accuracy\, efficiency\, and confidence through increasingly challenging exercises. Our experienced Makhaira Group instructors will help you refine your techniques\, strengthen your shotgun handling skills\, and discover how small improvements can make a big difference. \nUsing our proven “crawl\, walk\, run” approach\, you’ll continue developing your abilities in a safe\, supportive\, and professional training environment that encourages you to challenge yourself and keep improving. \nThe goal? Become more confident\, more capable\, and more comfortable with your shotgun than ever before! \nWhether you’re looking to sharpen your existing skills or simply ready to try something new\, Tactical Shotgun 200 is your opportunity to build on your foundation and enjoy an engaging\, hands-on training experience. \nPrerequisite\nCompletion of Tactical Shotgun 100. A pre-approved course/recommendation from a reputable instructor may also be considered. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering. \nTopics Covered\n\nTactical safety\nFundamentals of shooting the tactical shotgun\nShotgun ammunition ballistics\nMechanical operation\nCare and cleaning\nTactical carry and employment\nMethodology of shooting the tactical shotgun\nSimulated stress fire\nUse of cover\nShooting on the move\nEngaging multiple targets\nShooting from unorthodox positions\nTactical reloading\nMarksmanship and accuracy improvement\nMalfunction clearance (Stoppage drills)\nTactical gun-handling\nEmploying a shotgun from a vehicle\n\nRequired Equipment\n\nGood working\, serviceable shotgun (single barrel – pump or semi) with adjustable tactical sling.  Tactical shotguns are preferred but not mandatory.  Shotgun must be capable of shooting standard slugs.  If barrel has a removable choke\, the choke must be IC (Improved Cylinder) or larger.\n200 rounds of ammunition (A variety of ammunition is used in this course.  Minimum of 125 rounds of birdshot (7 1/2 to 9)\, 50 rounds of 00 Buck\, and 25 rounds of slug ammunition.  No home reloads allowed due to insurance.)\nTactical method of carrying each type of ammunition**\nEar protection (electronic preferred)\nEye protection\nBaseball style hat (or similar type brimmed hat)\nKnee pads (optional but recommended)\nElbow pads (optional)\nGloves (optional\, must be able to manipulate weapon)
