DESCRIPTION:The Defensive Pistol 110 class is open to all Makhaira Group Alumni of Concealed Handgun Permit or students who already have their Concealed Handgun Permit. This is a range only session\, reviewing the fundamentals of marksmanship with a focus on improvement of accuracy and safe gun handling skills learned in Defensive Pistol 100. \nPrerequisite\nCompletion of Basic Pistol 101 (with CCW)/ Concealed Handgun Permit or students who already have a Concealed Handgun Permit. A pre-approved course/recommendation from a reputable instructor may also be considered. SUMMARY:Kids Intro to Firearms
DESCRIPTION:This is a two-hour course for children and their parents/guardians\, consisting of one hour in the classroom and one hour on  the indoor range at Liberty Firearms Institute. DESCRIPTION:This course focuses on the principles of shooting a scoped rifle\, and teaches students to effectively and confidently shoot out to 300 yards. Either a bolt action or semi-automatic weapon maybe used. This class does not allow red dot holographic or prism scopes\, only “traditional” rifle scopes are allowed. \n\nTopics Covered\n\nFirearms safety\nFundamentals of shooting a scoped rifle\nAmmunition and ballistics\nDisassembly and assembly\nMechanical operation\nCare and cleaning\nZeroing scoped rifles\nBallistics and ammunition selection\nMethodology of shooting a scoped rifle\nPositional shooting\nMarksmanship and accuracy of scoped rifles\n\nRequired Equipment\n\nGood working\, serviceable scoped rifle capable of 1 MOA or better\, .223 or larger.\nA rifle mounted and bore sighted (at a minimum) scope with at least a 4 power magnification (If you need assistance with this please contact us and we will be happy to assist you).\n80 rounds of rifle ammunition (same make\, bullet weight and load). Home reloads are allowed in bolt-action rifles only. No reloads allowed in gas-operated guns (no exceptions due to insurance).\nRifle cheek piece. DESCRIPTION:What would you do if you were suddenly and violently attacked? Most of us wonder how we would really act under high stress and potential deadly situations. This course is designed to prepare students for real-world acts of violence\, criminal encounters and sudden attacks. \nWe will help you work through real-life events and teach you proven survival techniques through reality based scenarios. Students will be taught how to tactically make decisions in high stress situations and how to use real world techniques to survive a variety of violent encounters. Focus will be on engaging threats with real-world speed and accuracy necessary for you to survive. This course will expand your firearms skills in real-world situations. You will walk away from this course with a whole new outlook on the world! \nPrerequisite\nCompletion of Defensive Pistol 100 or Defensive Pistol 110.
