DESCRIPTION:The Gun Fighter 100 class provides gear familiarization and transitioning from primary to secondary weapons system fundamentals. Students will receive instruction on gear set-up\, when/how to communicate\, and reloading/transitioning drills. \nPrerequisite\nCompletion of Tactical Rifle 100 AND Defensive Pistol 100.  \nA pre-approved course/recommendation from a reputable instructor may also be considered. DESCRIPTION:Dedicated for women\, our Women’s Defensive Pistol 100 class will improve your pistol shooting fundamentals and basic pistol craft skills with the self defense pistol. Using the “crawl\, walk\, run” philosophy\, students will learn and practice basic and intermediate pistol skills and shooting fundamentals both in the classroom and on the live-fire range. \nExactly the same content as our coed courses\, these classes are taught by certified NRA instructors who believe that every woman should be able to protect herself and her loved ones\, without having to deal with the typical “gun shop” attitude that only deters from equipping the citizen. \nTopics Covered\n\nFirearms safety\nFundamentals of shooting (stance\, grip\, etc.)\nChoosing a pistol and ammunition ballistics\nTactical presentations including concealed carry\nMethodology of shooting the self defense pistol\nUse of cover\nTactical reloading\nDrawing from the holster\nMarksmanship and accuracy improvement\nMalfunction clearance (Stoppage drills)\nTactical gun-handling\nSimulated stress fire\n\nRequired Equipment\n\nGood working\, serviceable pistol. DESCRIPTION:Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) provides comprehensive training and instruction in pistol safety and operation in addition to what you need to know to carry a concealed handgun in Colorado (legally and practically). Upon successful completion of this course\, you will receive the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) in Colorado. \nThe class is taught by Makhaira Group certified NRA instructors in a safe and professional classroom and range. \nTopics Covered\n\nReasons why to carry a handgun in society and why not to\nHandgun safety\nChoosing a handgun and ammunition\nLegal use of deadly force in Colorado\nLocal\, state\, federal laws and reciprocity\nCarrying concealed in the real world — tips\, tricks and gray areas\nCarry methods that are both reasonable and effective for everyday life\nLive-fire instruction and practice for safety\, accuracy and comfort with your pistol\n\nRequired Equipment\n\nQuality\, working\, serviceable pistol.  Please bring your pistol to the course unloaded and in a case.
